Is Reccap - AI email writing assistant in Gmail safe?

Reccap reads Gmail thread and email content and sends it to its own backend to generate AI reply drafts.

When you view a Gmail thread, Reccap's content scripts pull the thread and email content from the page and send it to Reccap's own server (api.recap-app.com) to produce AI-written reply and answer suggestions shown back in Gmail. Sign-in and API calls stay within Reccap's own domains (recap-app.com, reccap.co); no third-party recipient is involved.
