Is ShutUp!Tab safe?

Mutes the active tab and can keep specified URLs or domains muted automatically.

This extension lets you turn off sound on the current tab. It also supports a blacklist of URLs or domains so matching tabs are muted automatically. The store description notes that very old browser versions may require enabling Chrome’s tab audio muting setting.
