Is Simple Sticky Notes safe?

Add sticky notes to specific web pages and keep them in place between browser sessions.

This extension lets you create notes from the right-click menu or with Alt+Shift+N, then place them on the page they relate to. Notes can be moved, resized, color-customized, and exported or imported; the description says they are stored locally in the browser with no cloud account needed.
