Is Subtitle Downloader: YouTube Netflix Disney+ Max Apple TV & Any Site safe?
Subtitle Downloader lets page scripts on streaming sites ask the extension to fetch allowed cross-origin URLs.
On supported streaming sites, the content script relays page-supplied proxy fetch requests to the extension background script without checking the message origin, source, URL, or a nonce. Page scripts can provide the URL, method, headers, and body, then receive the response body and headers for URLs covered by the extension's host permissions.

Shared hosts - 1 hostname
Hostnames hardcoded in this extension that few other listings call. That can mean one operator behind both, and it can equally mean a small shared vendor, so it is context rather than a conclusion. Hosts that many listings call are left out: they are services, not connections.
