Is Sunrise Backgrounds safe?

This extension replaces the Chrome new tab page with sunrise background images.

It shows a high-quality sunrise image each time you open a new tab, with scenes described as coming from different parts of the world. The store description says installing it sets Chrome’s New Tab page to the service provided by the extension.
