Is Surfshark VPN - Extension — fast & private safe?

Surfshark VPN Extension sends each visited domain to ext.surfshark.com and logs user events with a persistent device ID to ux.surfshark.com.

On each page load, the extension's breach-alert feature queries ext.surfshark.com with the current site's domain to check for known data breaches; this is enabled by default for subscribers. The extension also intercepts the browser Geolocation API on all HTTP/HTTPS pages when VPN geo-spoofing is active, substituting real GPS coordinates with those provided by the VPN cluster. Additionally, user interaction events paired with a persistent device UUID are sent to ux.surfshark.com, with statistics collection defaulting to on.
