Is Tab Activate safe?
Clean risk
New tabs opened from links become active immediately instead of staying in the background.
This extension reverses Chrome’s default new-tab focus behavior so newly opened tabs switch into view right away. Holding Shift while opening a new tab keeps it in the background, except for bookmarks as noted in the store description.

What it can do
Permissions this extension asks for, as declared in version 3.2.1. Asking for a permission is not a finding on its own - it is what the extension can do if it chooses to.
