Is Tab Activate safe?

New tabs opened from links become active immediately instead of staying in the background.

This extension reverses Chrome’s default new-tab focus behavior so newly opened tabs switch into view right away. Holding Shift while opening a new tab keeps it in the background, except for bookmarks as noted in the store description.
