Is Tab Wheel Scroll safe?

Q: Is Tab Wheel Scroll safe?

Tab Wheel Scroll is low risk. The rating reflects signals from our analysis that have not yet been published as detailed findings.

Low risk

Tab Wheel Scroll listens for wheel gestures on pages and switches the active tab when matching events occur.

Tab Wheel Scroll runs a content script on all pages to watch for Alt-wheel or right-click-wheel gestures. When a matching wheel event occurs, it asks the background service worker to choose an adjacent available tab in the same window and activate it. The reviewed source does not show user data being sent to external recipients.

Part of this rating comes from analysis signals we haven't published as detailed findings yet.
