Is The World Tab safe?

The World Tab replaces the new tab page and sends search queries to the publisher's own search domain.

When installed, The World Tab overrides Chrome's new tab page with a world-clock interface. The search bar in that page submits queries directly to search.theworldtab.com via an HTML form GET request, exposing each search term to the publisher's server. No other data collection or outbound transmission was identified in the extension source.
