Is TICloudAgent Bridge safe?

TICloudAgent Bridge connects ti.com pages to a locally installed TI CloudAgent app to flash and debug Texas Instruments hardware.

The extension runs only on ti.com pages and relays messages between those pages and a native helper application (com.ti.ticloudagent) installed on your computer over Chrome's native messaging. It also opens WebSocket connections on behalf of the page; because the connecting page supplies the WebSocket URL with no host allowlist, the service worker will connect to whatever address ti.com pages request. No browsing data or page content is sent to any third-party server beyond the local TI agent.
