Is Twitter download helper safe?
Twitter download helper checks api.pictureknow.com for updates and can route Google update-host traffic through a vendor proxy.
Every 180 minutes the extension asks api.pictureknow.com for its latest version. If a newer version exists and clients2.google.com is unreachable, it temporarily sets a browser proxy that sends only Google extension-update hosts through agency.pictureknow.com, then clears it after about a minute. All other browsing stays direct.
