Is UnTrap for YouTube safe?

UnTrap for YouTube stores PRO account passwords in plaintext and sends them to its servers on every sync request.

The extension saves the user's PRO account password as plaintext in browser local storage and transmits it as a URL-encoded parameter to untrap.app on each cloud sync, login, and settings update operation. The password is never hashed or encrypted client-side before storage or transmission. Users with a PRO account who enable cloud sync have their credentials sent in cleartext to untrap.app/db/ endpoints.
