Is VIA Screen Share safe?

VIA Screen Share enables desktop capture and sharing exclusively for Kramer VIA collaboration devices via a scoped companion extension.

The extension acts as a bridge between Kramer VIA presentation hardware (accessed at dev.wowvision.in, cb.wowvision.com, and via.kramerav.com) and the Chrome desktopCapture API. When the VIA web app requests a screen share, the extension prompts the user to select a screen or window and returns a stream ID back to the VIA page. Session state such as login status, moderator role, and feature flags are stored locally in chrome.storage and IndexedDB; no data is sent to external servers.
