Is Video DownloadHelper safe?

Detects video and audio streams on websites and lets you download selected media from the browser.

This extension monitors web pages and network requests to find downloadable video and audio, including HLS and DASH streams with multiple quality options. It provides one-click downloads from the popup, right-click download options for videos or links, filename templates, notifications, stored settings, and dark or light themes. The store description says processing happens locally in the browser and no data collection occurs.
