Every five minutes the extension sends the user's WhatsApp phone number to wabiz.in to check premium feature eligibility. On each service worker startup it also fetches the user's IP geolocation from ip-api.com over plain HTTP (no TLS) to set the UI language. Additionally, the extension writes the extension's runtime ID, version, and base URL as readable DOM meta tags on web.whatsapp.com, making them accessible to any script running in that page context.
