Wordtune captures the full HTML content of AI chatbot pages and transmits it to its own servers.
When a user visits a whitelisted AI chatbot site (including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and others), Wordtune's content script monitors DOM changes and periodically collects the page's full HTML, readable text, URL, and title. This data is sent to api.wordtune.com/reader/insights along with the authenticated user's session identifiers. The whitelist of covered sites is fetched remotely from Amplitude on each page load and can be silently expanded to additional domains by Wordtune at any time.
