Is Xe Currency Converter & Price Switcher safe?

Convert prices and custom amounts into your preferred currency while browsing.

This extension switches product prices, cart totals, and other displayed amounts into a selected currency on web pages. It also includes a browser currency converter for entering custom amounts and viewing real-time conversions using Xe mid-market rates. The description states that conversions happen locally in the browser and that personal data or browsing information is not sent to Xe servers.
