Is xTab safe?
Limits how many browser tabs can be open at one time.
This extension lets you set a maximum tab count and choose what happens when the limit is reached. It can close tabs based on least recently used, least accessed, or oldest, or block new tabs from opening once the limit is reached. Pinned tabs, audio-playing tabs, and background tabs you have not visited are not closed.
