Zoho CRM for Gmail reads the open email's sender and body and sends them to Zoho CRM to create or update a matching lead.

When you open an email in Gmail, the extension captures the sender's name, email address, and message content and looks up or creates a matching Lead or Contact in your Zoho CRM account, authenticated with your own Zoho OAuth token. This is the extension's core Gmail-to-CRM integration feature.
