Is Birthday messaging safe?
Birthday messaging reads your Facebook friends' birthdays and automatically sends them scheduled messages.
The extension uses your logged-in Facebook session to query your friends' names, profile links and birthdates, then drives the Messenger interface to paste and send birthday messages on a schedule. Message text is fetched from the vendor's server using only a login token and group ID; the friend list itself is not sent there. It also rewrites the Origin header on requests to Facebook so they pass Facebook's origin checks.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Birthday messaging contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
