Is Clear Street View safe?

This extension clears the Street View interface for cleaner viewing or screenshots.

Clear Street View hides the Street View user interface so the view is less obstructed. It also lets the user re-enable the interface to move locations or use other page features. The description notes that street names embedded in the road remain visible in the public web version.
