Is Control Panel for YouTube safe?
Customizes YouTube by hiding ads, recommendations, Shorts, comments, and other page elements.
This extension adds controls for changing the YouTube desktop and mobile web experience, including blocking ads, hiding sponsored or suggested content, disabling autoplay, and adjusting video player UI elements. It can also hide or redirect Shorts, modify video lists, hide comments and related videos, enable background playback on mobile, and add options such as snapshots and downloadable transcripts on desktop. Its permissions allow it to run on YouTube and YouTube embed pages and save settings in browser storage.
