Is Converter Suite & Custom Web Search safe?

Converter Suite sets Yahoo as the default search engine and routes all searches through an undisclosed affiliate tracking account.

When installed, the extension configures the browser to use a Yahoo search URL that includes affiliate tracking parameters identifying the publisher's monetization account. These parameters are not disclosed to users in the extension's description or permissions. The extension's content script is scoped only to convertersuite.com and does not interact with general browsing.
