Is Deal Finder safe?

Deal Finder sends your Google search result URLs to Takeads and rewrites matching links into affiliate tracking links.

On Google search pages, the extension collects the URLs of organic search results and sends them to Takeads' monetization API. When Takeads returns a matching affiliate deal, the extension overwrites that result's link with a tracking URL and adds a 'Discounts' badge and banner pointing to the same link. The API calls, including a similar one triggered from the extension's popup, use a fixed access token that is embedded directly in the shipped code.
