Is Downie (Unofficial) safe?
This extension connects supported video pages to Downie for downloading when available.
This unofficial browser extension is used with Downie and can open Downie from supported sites. If a site is unsupported, clicking the Downie icon does not open Downie and shows a message instead. YouTube downloading is locked due to Chrome Store restrictions, and some protected videos cannot be downloaded.
