Is Expand Image Formats safe?

Insert WebP, BMP, SVG, and AVIF images into Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.

This extension lets you add unsupported image formats to Google Docs and Google Slides by dragging and dropping image files. In Google Sheets, it lets you copy an image, select a cell, and paste it directly. The description says it works locally in the browser and does not collect or transmit data.
