When triggered, the extension collects the entire visible page text along with the labels and types of nearby form fields and passes them to its background service worker. The background worker builds a prompt from this page text and field data and sends it to OpenAI's chat-completions API using the API key the user has entered in the extension's own settings, then writes the returned answers into the form fields. Because its content script runs on every website, this page-reading and OpenAI request can occur on any site the user visits.
