Is Forecastfox - Weather Forecast safe?

Forecastfox loads its API URL configuration from s3blog.org on startup with no integrity check, then routes all weather and location queries through those URLs.

Forecastfox is a weather forecast toolbar extension that fetches current conditions and forecasts from AccuWeather. On startup it retrieves a config.json file from s3blog.org that controls every API endpoint URL used to request weather and geolocation data. Because no signature or allowlist validates this remote file, the set of servers that receive your city code, latitude/longitude, and language preferences is determined entirely by the contents of that file.
