Is HoverClock safe?

Adds a customizable digital clock overlay to web pages.

This extension shows a draggable, resizable clock on web pages and lets you adjust its size, position, colors, opacity, and display options. You can save settings per site, hide the clock on selected domains, minimize it, dock it to preset screen positions, or open it in a new tab or browser window. The description says settings are saved locally using Chrome sync storage and that no data is collected or shared externally.
