Is Mate Translate – translator, dictionary safe?

Mate Translate sends daily translation statistics and account email to Gikken servers and transmits a persistent device ID at install time.

Each day, the extension collects the user's account email, user ID, and per-language translation counts and POSTs them to asia.gikken.co. On first run, it sends a one-time install beacon to sync.matetranslate.com containing a persistent random UUID, the browser locale, open tab count, and platform identifier. These transmissions occur automatically without prompting the user.
