Is International Jobs safe?

Low risk

International Jobs runs a server-controlled DOM scraper across every LinkedIn page it loads on, not just job listings.

The extension injects a content script into all LinkedIn pages and frames -- feed, messaging, profile, notifications, recruiter tools, not only /jobs/ -- and fetches a live CSS-selector and URL-match schema from the developer's own server on each page load. It then reads whatever fields those server-supplied selectors point to out of the current page's DOM and uploads the extracted data to the same server. Today the schema only asks for job-listing fields (job ID, company, location, LinkedIn URL, visa sponsorship), but that scoping lives entirely in the server's response, not in the extension's code, so nothing on the client limits what could be collected from any LinkedIn page in the future.

Where it sends data

Destinations our analysis observed International Jobs contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
