Is Penumbra - Dark & Light Switcher safe?

This extension switches websites between dark and light modes with automatic scheduling and customization.

It applies a dark mode to websites and can switch between dark and light based on system preferences or a custom schedule. Users can adjust brightness, contrast, warmth, and sepia, set per-site preferences, and whitelist sites they do not want changed. The description says images and videos keep their original colors while backgrounds adapt.
