Is Per-Tab Volume Control safe?

Controls and boosts audio volume separately for each browser tab.

This extension lets you adjust tab audio with volume boost, mute, mono audio, left/right balance, and an audio compressor. It also provides keyboard shortcuts, controls for tabs with active audio, and default compressor, mono, and balance settings for new or reloaded pages. The manifest allows it to run scripts on websites and store settings locally.
