Is Adios Alexa for Shopping (formerly Rufus Remover) safe?

Hides Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping assistant while you browse Amazon shopping pages.

This extension removes Amazon’s AI shopping assistant elements, including chat panels, suggestions, and navigation insertions described by the developer. It is enabled by default, works without setup or an account, and includes a one-click toggle to turn it on or off. The store description says it runs locally with no tracking or data collection.
