Is Salut VPN – Secure Proxy Access safe?

Controls a Chrome proxy connection from the browser toolbar.

This extension lets users choose a country location and turn a proxy connection on or off from a compact Chrome interface. It shows the current connection status, includes free servers for basic use, and can unlock additional locations with a personal token that the description says is checked locally in the browser. Settings such as the selected location and connection status are saved locally.
