Is Tab Board safe?
Tab Board uploads saved tab groups, including page URLs and titles, to GitHub when Gist sync is enabled.
When a user enables GitHub Gist sync, the options page stores a GitHub token locally and sends the saved tab-group export to api.github.com/gists. The uploaded JSON includes group data such as tab URLs, page titles, favicons, and timestamps.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Tab Board contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
