Is Tag Assistant Companion safe?
This extension is being retired as its Tag Assistant features move to the original Tag Assistant extension.
The store description says the companion extension’s functionality is moving into the original Tag Assistant extension. It directs users to install the original extension, which now includes in-page debugging and advanced functionality on tagassistant.google.com. If both extensions are installed, the companion extension is expected to be automatically uninstalled in the coming months.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Tag Assistant Companion contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
