The request also includes a unique identifier that was generated when you installed the extension and never changes, allowing the server to build a history of your browsing activity tied to your specific browser installation. The extension contacts a remote server once per hour to download a list of keywords. Any website you visit whose address contains one of those keywords will be flagged and its full URL sent back to the same server. Because the keyword list is server-controlled, the developer can without notifying the user expand surveillance to new sites at any time without updating the extension.
