Is Test Capture safe?
Test Capture records page network traffic, console logs and screenshots and uploads sessions to Testsigma's Arcus backend.
When a user starts a recording, or visits a domain they whitelisted for instant replay, the extension captures request and response headers and bodies (up to 1MB), console logs and screenshots or video. These sessions are uploaded to Testsigma's Arcus service. A page-message handler checks sender origins with a prefix match, so a look-alike domain could supply an auth token that sends later uploads to another Testsigma account.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Test Capture contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
