Is Video Downloader VeeVee safe?

Video Downloader VeeVee loads a remote config whose switches can enable in-page code execution and domain-visit reporting on all sites.

The extension loads its configuration from a GitHub-hosted JSON file on startup. That config includes disabled-by-default switches that, if enabled remotely, would cause the extension to evaluate server-returned strings as JavaScript in all open pages (via setTimeout) and report every visited domain to a configurable endpoint. Separately, the extension collects IP geolocation data—city, ZIP, latitude, longitude, ISP, and ASN—and attaches those fields to every analytics event sent to Google Analytics.
