Is Web of Trust, MyWOT/WOT: Website Reputation Rating safe?

Web of Trust sends every URL you visit, Google Search results, and ad intelligence to secure.mywot.com on each page navigation.

On every tab navigation, the extension collects the current and previous page URLs, referrer, transition type, and a persistent user GUID, then transmits them to secure.mywot.com. A remotely fetched configuration enables the extension's servers to instruct targeted DOM data extraction from specific pages, with collected data bundled into subsequent tracking requests. Additionally, Google Search organic results and advertisements — including advertiser URLs, image data, and ad positions — are extracted from pages and forwarded to the same endpoint.
