Is Video Downloader for Facebook safe?

Video Downloader for Facebook sends signed Facebook CDN video URLs to getfvid.com when a user initiates a download.

When a user clicks the extension's Download button on a Facebook video page, a content script reads the page HTML to extract signed CDN video URLs. The extension then redirects the tab to getfvid.com with the base64-encoded video URL appended as a query parameter, transmitting the URL to that third-party server. The interaction is scoped to facebook.com pages and is triggered only on explicit user action.
