Is YouTube SpeedUp safe?

Adds a scrollable speed control to the YouTube player for quick playback speed changes.

This extension adds a speedometer button to YouTube’s native player controls, including Shorts when enabled. You can scroll on the button to adjust playback speed, click to reset to 1.00, and use keyboard controls; settings let you enable it for videos or Shorts, set the saved speed, change the increment, and reset defaults. Settings are stored locally in the browser.
