Is Zimbra Mail Notifier safe?

Zimbra Mail Notifier stores saved Zimbra passwords encrypted with a key derived from the public extension ID.

When you choose to save a Zimbra account password, the extension encrypts it and stores the encrypted value in Chrome extension storage. The encryption key is derived from the extension's public ID rather than a user secret, so copied extension storage or synced profile data is only weakly protected.
