Is Caoliao QR Code (Official) - QR Code Generator and Decoder safe?

Caoliao QR Code sends a persistent UUID and userAgent to its vendor analytics endpoint on each user action.

On first launch the extension generates a random UUID and stores it locally, then reports it alongside the browser userAgent and action event names to datafinder-api.cli.im on every interaction. Events cover QR code generation, decoding, context-menu use, and export actions. No personally-identifying content beyond the UUID and userAgent is observed in the telemetry payload.
