Is Chrome Step Recorder safe?
Chrome Step Recorder records clicks, form changes, page details, and visible-tab screenshots while recording is enabled.
When recording is turned on, Chrome Step Recorder attaches listeners to links, buttons, inputs, and selects on every site. It saves clicked or changed element details, page URL and title, navigation timing, and a visible-tab screenshot in local extension storage, with password field values redacted.
