Is DeepSeek AI - Floating AI Chat safe?

DeepSeek AI sends user-selected text from any webpage to whichever AI provider API the user has configured.

When a user selects text and triggers the extension (via keyboard shortcut, context menu, or text selection), the content script captures the selected text and forwards it through the background service worker to the configured AI provider's API endpoint. Supported providers include DeepSeek, SiliconFlow, VolcEngine (ByteDance), Tencent Cloud, Baidu Cloud, Alibaba Aliyun, IFlytek, and AiHubMix — the default provider is DeepSeek. The extension runs on all pages, so any text selected anywhere in the browser can be transmitted to these endpoints.
