Is Disable Autoplay for YouTube™ safe?
This extension stops or pauses YouTube videos so they do not autoplay when opened.
It adds a toolbar on/off switch and, when active, automatically stops YouTube videos from playing. Its options let you pause instead of stop, control play or pause behavior when tabs are focused or hidden, and choose whether it applies to embedded videos, Shorts, and the channel page player.
