Is GMBspy safe?

GMBspy intercepts Google Search and Maps API responses to collect business listing details into a CSV you can export.

On Google Search and Maps pages, the extension injects a page-level script that overrides XMLHttpRequest to read Google's internal search, place, and local-services API responses. It parses out each business's name, address, and category list and stores them in the browser's local storage, and issues its own follow-up requests to Google endpoints using your existing Google session to fill in category data. The collected listings stay on your machine and are written out as a CSV when you click export; no third-party server receives the data.
