Manuals Hunt and Search overrides the default search engine to Yahoo with undisclosed affiliate tracking parameters on every search.

The extension sets itself as the default search provider and routes all searches through a Yahoo affiliate URL containing fixed partner identifiers (hspart=ata, hsimp=yhs-002, type=type9044149-aal-139990-139991). These affiliate parameters are appended to every query the user submits, generating commission revenue for the extension publisher without disclosure. The same affiliate URL is also used for searches initiated from the extension's popup interface.
